Join Your Neighbors for Oktoberfest!
Come celebrate with us on Saturday, October 3, starting at noon at the Continental Village Clubhouse!
Enjoy good food, drinks, music, and time with friends and neighbors. It’s a great opportunity to get out, meet fellow Continental Village residents, and enjoy the fall season together.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We could use a few extra hands to help make the day run smoothly! Whether you can help with setup, lend a hand during the event, or help with cleanup, every bit makes a difference.
No special experience is needed, just a willingness to pitch in and have some fun with your neighbors!

Prepare Your Home Before the Heating Season
As cooler weather approaches, the Continental Village Fire Department reminds all residents to take a few minutes to check their smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) detectors before turning on heating equipment for the season.
Please take the following steps:
Test every smoke and CO detector in your home to make sure it is operating properly.
Replace batteries if needed, or replace the detector if it is past its recommended service life.
Make sure detectors are installed on every level of your home and near sleeping areas.
Never disable or remove a detector because of nuisance alarms.
Keep heating equipment and vents clear of furniture, clothing, boxes, and other combustible materials.
Have your furnace, boiler, fireplace, wood stove, or other heating equipment inspected and serviced as recommended by the manufacturer.
Remember that carbon monoxide is colorless and odorless. A working CO detector can provide an early warning of this potentially dangerous gas.
A few minutes today can make a difference tomorrow.
The Continental Village Fire Department encourages every household to make fire and CO detector checks part of its seasonal home-safety routine.
Stay safe, stay prepared, and help protect your family this heating season.
